Richard Heley was born in Bedfordshire, but grew up in Australia where he graduated as a specialist art and craft teacher. As a fine art painter, poet, storywriter, international poetry performer and live performance painter, he has worked in galleries, schools, clubs and other events in the UK, Australia and the USA. His paintings are represented in collections around the world. A wonderful performance poet with a whacky sense of humour, Richard and his wife Seema now also produce beautiful paintings interactively with groups of children.
